Altacon stands proud as the infrastructure partner for the Gift of the Givers. Together, we work to serve humanity with the Gift of the Givers Foundation, which is the largest disaster response non-governmental organisation of African origin on the African continent. We apply our expertise and resources to respond appropriately to the specific needs of communities in need.
Our business and expert teams support CSI and disaster relief efforts that contribute to the development and upliftment of the communities. As the official infrastructure partner, we align our efforts with the projects and programmes that advance the priorities of the Gift of the Givers. Altacon Projects has a level 1 BEE level, with 100% previously disadvantaged ownership and management. We prioritise employee development and equity principles, with technical staff all being previously disadvantaged.
Our focus is on identifying and nurturing key staff for career development. Professional growth is fostered through education and mentoring. We’ve supported various construction inclined students throughout the country, alongside ongoing skills development programs for our employees.
